OIL FIRED BOILER ENGINEERS – Full Time

Due to expansion and retirements, Channel Islands Fuels Limited, a leading supplier of petroleum products in the Channel Islands requires additional, oil-fired boiler engineers to join its busy team of service and installation engineers.

FULL-TIME – The ideal candidate will have boiler maintenance experience and ideally will be a qualified OFTEC registered boiler engineer or working towards that qualification.  However, a candidate who can demonstrate experience of plumbing/electrical work will also be considered as industry recognised training can be provided and the role could suit someone looking for a change in career. Even a current, near-to-finishing apprentice who would like to specialise could suit the role.

The work mainly involves boiler servicing, breakdown cover and the maintenance of other company installed equipment. Therefore the ability to fault-find and to work on your own initiative is important.

Working hours will be 8am till 4pm with breakdown cover required when on call.

A fully expensed company van and equipment will be provided.

Training provided if required for the right candidate.

Contributory Pension Scheme after qualifying period.

 

Salary negotiable according to age and experience and in addition will include a productivity bonus and overtime.
